Minecraft Xbox One Themed Controllers To Be Launched Next Month

Minecraft is a very popular video game that’s available on consoles, computers and mobile devices. As most of you know, Minecraft is currently owned by Microsoft and the company is really trying to get as much money as they can with this title.

The Xbox One is now getting a Minecraft-themed bundle, but that was already known for some time. Well, we have some good news for gamers who already have an Xbox One console. It seems that Microsoft is also planning to sell Minecraft themed controllers separately.

Reports are suggesting that the Minecraft themed controllers for Xbox One consoles will be available on September 5, 2017 while the console bundle will hit the stores on October 3, 2017.

The controllers come in two variants, as follows:

  • one will have a green Creeper theme, which will match the bundled console;
  • one will come with a Pink design.

The controllers will cost $74.99 each and they are compatible with any Xbox One console variants and Windows 10 PCs.

We remind you that the $399 Xbox One S 1TB console that Microsoft has shown off at Xbox Gamescome keynote, comes with a Creeper controller, a vertical stand and download codes for Minecraft and the Minecraft Redstone pack. As expected it contains trial passes for Xbox Live and the Xbox Game Pass.

Keep in mind that the Xbox One 1TB edition costs about $349.99 (or even less) while the standard Xbox One controller is about $59.99. That being said, Microsoft is really trying to get some extra money by bringing a bundle like this.

In other news, Microsoft has already announced during Gamescom that it is opening pre-orders for its Xbox One X “Project Scorpio Edition” for the price of $499.99. The Xbox One X will be great when paired with a 4K TV, but most of the gamers will probably not own one.

Will you pre-order the Xbox One X “Project Scorpio Edition”?
