Ford F-150 Raptor Xbox One X Edition is the gamer’s side of SEMA

This concept doesn’t actually come solely from Ford Performance – it’s a tie in collaboration with Microsoft to go hand in hand with the November 7 launch of the fourth generation Xbox One X gaming console.

The two companies have chosen SEMA in Las Vegas as the most appropriate venue to present their prototype in front of the worldwide audience – the bespoke F-150 Raptor comes with Xbox branding, as well as plenty performance upgrades. Its long name goes by the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Xbox One X Edition, and the game references include unique graphics, paint, and upholstery influenced by the Xbox One X’s internal codename, “Project Scorpio.” On the outside viewers get a matte grey finish with green and white accenting, and even Forza Motorsport decals.

Numerous elements set it apart from a regular F-150 Raptor – bespoke wheels, bumpers, a chase rack, and LED lighting, while mechanical upgrades include a Fabtech six-inch lift kit, better Alcon brakes, an Addictive Desert Designs intercooler, and a Ford Performance Borla exhaust. “We have long enjoyed and valued our partnership with Ford Performance and feel privileged to work with them on the incredible F-150 Raptor, an iconic American legend,” comments Mike Humphreys, Senior Director for the Forza Franchise. “The Ford Raptor is built on top of another iconic legend, the Ford F-150 pickup, resulting in technical excellence and off-road innovations that make it a Forza fan favorite.”
